This workshop will emphasize that photography is an essential tool in Dentistry.
Its importance increasingly assumes a more preponderant role in our area, not only in medico-legal reasons due to the documentation of clinical cases, but also due to the unquestionable help in the diagnosis, study and planning of our cases. Its use in the different phases of treatment and in control and communication with other colleagues and the laboratory has allowed us to achieve greater success in our work and patient satisfaction.
This course aims to provide knowledge and improvement in dental photography, so that they all participants can control their camera in an easy and practical way in their daily clinical work and be able to record their clinical cases in a consistent and reproducible way.
All equipment and accessories necessary to take quality clinical photographs will be presented. The entire protocol of photographic settings and setups will be presented, to enable their immediate implementation in clinical practice.
About the lecturer
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Dentistry from FMDUL. Invited Assistant at FMDUL since 1999 in the Department of Imaging. Exclusive clinical practice in Oral Rehabilitation Photography course at the Portuguese Institute of Photography. Professional Photography Studio in Lisbon – Light Up Studio. Postgraduate degree in Marketing from ISCTE. Postgraduate degree in Healthcare Management from NOVA SBE Trainer in the areas of Imaging, General Photography, Photography in Dentistry, Marketing, and Leadership. Author and co-author of scientific papers and presentations, both internationally and nationally, in the field of Oro-Maxillo-Facial Photography and Imaging, and Biomaterials.
